HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE POWHATAN LOCAL SCAVENGER HUNT

RULES

1. Solve the clues to determine the item you need to find.

2. Visit a location to search for the items, take a pic of the location and post it on FB,
Instagram (use the hashtag #PowhatanLocalScavengerHunt)

3. Once you completed the list, email Answers to clue and pictures to
PowhatanLocal@gmail.com and put in subject line -Subject: Scavenger Hunt

4. Have fun! You do not need to be present to win! To qualify for prizes, entry must
be received by 5/10 6PM

POWHATAN LOCAL SCAVENGER HUNT RULES

Having fun is required.
Revealing of the winner will be 5/10 at 7:30PM
No age limits or age restrictions—all ages welcome!
Scavenger hunt locations will be posted April 30.
Hunt area is limited to Powhatan County business and/or landmarks
All decisions by the judges are final. No exception

Scoring

Entry with the most completed items on the list--wins!
Entries will be tallied by judges and are final. If there is a tie, judges will have a drawing to determine the winners.
Prizes:

1st place – Helicopter ride
2nd place – Rides Armband
3rd place – Gift Card

Disclosure:

1. Participant agree to release and hold harmless Powhatan Local Scavenger Hunt and the associated volunteers and sponsors thereof from all liability for personal injury, death, property damage or loss, or any other loss resulting from or arising out of my participation in the event.

Powhatan Local Countywide Scavenger Hunt Clues

I’m over you on a rainy day, close me, or I might blow away.
I’m here when you are tired and need a seat. You will get a rest and get off your feet
If you do not know where to look, then check for me on a hook.
If you push me, then I’ll release suds. This is especially important when you’ve been in the mud.
To go up, you step on me, but I sometimes hurt your knee.
What has a face but no mouth or nose? It also has hands but no fingers or toes.
I’m usually on top, and if you peek, you just might find a super cold treat.
I have a flat top and hold all your things.
Check your reflection in me to see your complexion.
I go on your back, and I keep things secure in my pack.
My first letter is an “e” just like my last. But I only contain one letter.
